Cameron Barrow passed away on April 22, 2023, in Norfolk, Virginia after a 7-year battle with brain cancer and the complications resulting from treatment. Cam was born to parents Lauren and Kris Barrow on March 5, 2015, in Parker, Colorado. Despite his medical challenges, he was known to all his friends, family, teachers, doctors, nurses, and therapists as an engaging, sweet-natured, happy little boy.

Cam’s favorite activities were throwing balls, going on walks, reading books, dancing to music, and cuddling with those who loved him. He also traveled extensively, enjoying the rides at Disney, Sea World, and Universal Studios, the beaches of Hawaii, Florida, California, Virginia, and Massachusetts, the castles and lochs of Scotland, the mountains and trails of Colorado, the adobe architecture of Santa Fe, the lights of the Las Vegas strip, and the historic sites and cobblestone streets of London.

In his short life, Cameron changed the hearts of all who knew him. Thousands of dollars have been raised for pediatric cancer research in his name. He has helped bring awareness to disabled accessibility issues across Colorado, and was a shining example of bravery and resilience in the face of illness.

Cameron is survived by his loving parents, Lauren and Kris, his sister, Brady, and his brother, Carson. A celebration of life, also called The Cam Show, will be held at Crossroads Church in Loveland, Colorado, on July 8, 2023, at 1:00 pm. Please join us in remembering his bright and beautiful life.

In liu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity close to Cam’s heart (St. Baldrick’s, Give Kids the World, Christopher’s Haven, Ronald McDonald House, Alex’s Lemonade Stand, and Make A Wish were his favorites!)

    Dear Lauren, Kris and Family.
I just now found your blog and regret that I didn’t read it sooner but wasn’t sure how a blog worked.
What a beautiful tribute to your brave, baby boy and the marvelous life he shared with you and so many others.
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you. Your deep love and sorrow for losing your precious, little Cammy was so beautifully written. It made me cry.
How lucky you were to have him and he was to have such caring parents and family.
    Sincerely,
    Kathleen in Denver
